Ms. Rita Li Head of Marketing, Octopus Card Limited As the Head of Marketing for Octopus Cards Limited, Rita is responsible for the formulation and execution of marketing strategies covering acquisition, usage stimulation and marketing services. Rita is also the Deputy Managing Director for Octopus Rewards Limited with responsibility of overseeing the strategic development and operation of one of the biggest loyalty programmes in the market for an alliance of retail merchants. Rita is a seasoned marketing professional with over 20 years of experience. She started her career with Citibank where she gained extensive expertise in consumer banking especially in managing and expanding the high net worth customer segments. Rita subsequently joined one of the top 4A Advertising Agencies, Leo Burnett in which she took a leading role in formulating advertising strategies and rolling out successful advertising campaigns for major corporations of different industries. Prior to joining Octopus, she was the Director of Consumer Marketing for PCCW, accountable for managing the highly competitive residential fixed line and IDD business as well as the company's customer loyalty club. Rita holds a Bachelor degree from the University of Hong Kong and she was acclaimed with the Distinguished Marketer Award by the Hong Kong Management Association in 2007.
