Ms. Shi Nansun Executive Director of Film Workshop Named one of the 50 most influential indie filmmakers/players around the world by Variety, Nansun Shi is one of Asia’s most accomplished and respected producers working in the Asian film scene today. Born in Hong Kong, Nansun received her bachelor degree from the Polytechnic of North London. Her film career began when she joined Cinema City Company Ltd in 1981 as Controller with overall responsibility for production, distribution and administration. In 2006, Nansun joined the board of the Bona International Film Group, a privately-held independent distributor with 15% market share in China. Today, apart from being the Executive Director of Film Workshop and sitting on the board of Bona, Nansun is also the Chairman of Distribution Workshop, an exciting new international sales agent for Asian films based in Hong Kong.
