Mr. Bill Kong Chi Keung Executive Director of Edko Films Ltd Bill KONG is a producer and he is also one of the most influential people of independent film distributors in Asia. He serves as the President of Hong Kong Edko Films Co. and the overseas distributor of ZHANG Yimou's films. Bill KONG specialises in strengthening casts and high-cost investment. In 1999, he distributed Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon which made great success in the 73rd Annual Academy Awards. Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon took Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film, Best Music (Song), Best Cinematography and Best Art Direction. Later he distributed ZHANG Yimou's Hero and House of Flying Daggers, which were successful as well.
