Philine Bracht Vis. Associate Professor, School of Design, Hong Kong Polytechnic University Ms. Philine Bracht was educated in industrial design in Germany (BA) and the USA (MA). During over 25 years in the design profession she worked as design manager in the porcelain and glass industry in Germany, as facilitator of design events and curator of exhibitions, as design journalist, educator and consultant. She has been teaching product and industrial design at UCLA (USA), Dongseo University (Korea), HfG Offenbach (Germany) and the School of Design, Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Apart from her continued efforts in teaching design for sustainability, her major focus is on designing for people of all ages. Her expertise is in developing and guiding creativity and problem solving processes and cross cultural communication to power design innovation. She lives in Hong Kong.
