Lo Partner, King & Wood Seminar Powerpoint Download Mr. Lo began his legal career in private practice in the San Francisco Bay Area from early 1980s until 1994, when he relocated to Hong Kong. Since 1994 and prior to joining this firm, he practiced in Hong Kong at several of the largest global and regional law firms headquartered in the US and Hong Kong. John Lo’s primary areas of professional focus are emerging companies, private equity, China-bound direct investment and M&A, and international transactions in general. He also has considerable experience in matters involving intellectual property, tax and corporate finance, and specific industry experience in the technology, real property, life sciences and renewable energies areas. The majority of Mr. Lo’s representation is for Hong Kong and Western companies doing business in Asia, but he was also one of the pioneers in representing PRC conglomerates in the US beginning in the late 1980s.
