Mr Maurice Levine
Master Franchisee, Anytime Fitness Asia
Maurice Levine is a native New Yorker and Hong Kong resident who has lived, operated and held Senior roles in retail organisations in Asia for the past ten years. Maurice resigned his post in February 2013 as CEO for Gold Buyers Asia to procure the Master Franchise for Anytime fitness. Where he is now leading the charge to take this world leading brand into South East Asia. Whilst at Gold Buyers he established and built a retail brand with over 60 stores from scratch across the region in just 5 years. As CEO for Gold Buyers he was personally responsible to; source funding, set up their corporate structure, procure retail space from property developers in very competitive landscapes, set up training systems for his team, and built and operated over 60 stores across Hong Kong, Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia. Prior to this Maurice operated as CEO for CMC Global, a worldwide, high end learning and development firm where he was awarded the contract to train retail sales and management teams across vast markets including Asia for Motorola. During this time he was personally responsible to deliver training in local dialects across South America, China, Thailand, Philippines, India, Africa and more and he developed a unique system to do so in the local dialects. His work was six-sigma audited and he was credited with delivering a growth in sales in India in a flat market. He also delivered leadership training for; Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Cisco Systems, Sony Ericcsson to name but a few. Other accomplishments include production of the official music for the Olympic Games licensed by the Olympic Committee and development and operation of an aboriginal corroboree performance and tourist attraction on Clark Island in Sydney Harbor. Most recently Maurice has been based throughout Asia living and operating in each market as Anytime Fitness has opened 50 outlets in Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Malaysia & Philippines moving from one to the next
