She has more than eight years of experience in Marketing, Business Development and Event Management in the Tourism industry in private organizations in Malaysia and twelve years of experience in Exporters Development and International Trade Promotion with MATRADE, Malaysia’s national trade promotion agency under the Ministry of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia, throughout Malaysia, Asia and South America.

With MATRADE, she has held the post of the Director of MATRADE Southern Region, responsible for the training and development of Malaysian exporters and MATRADE’s trade promotion activities in the southern region states of Malaysia. She also became Malaysia’s first female Trade Commissioner in the Embassy of Malaysia in Santiago, Chile, in-charge of overseeing Malaysia’s bilateral trade and investment relations as well as the promotion of Malaysian products and services in seven countries: Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Ecuador, Uruguay and Paraguay.
