Dr. David Y.K. Wong, BBS, JP Consultant,The Hong Kong General Chamber of Small & Medium Business Dr. David Y.K. Wong, BBS, JP received a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago in 1987.　He served as an Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philedelphia in 1987-1991. David has since worked in various industries including corporate finance, manufacturing and trading. David is an advisor of our Chamber (The Hong Kong General Chamber of Small and Medium Business). David actively participates in various community services. He is presently Hong Kong Deputy of The 12th National People’s Congress, Chairman of Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority, Chairman of Land and Development Advisory Committee, Chairman of Protection of Wages on Insolvency Fund Board. He is also a member of Exchange Fund Advisory Committee, Economic Development Commission. David previously served as President of the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA). David also currently serves as a non-executive director at a number of listed and non-listed companies.
