Ms. Miranda Wong
Supervisor (Social Innovation & Youth Business), The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups
Ms Wong Ho-yee, Miranda is the Supervisor (Social Innovation & Youth Business) of The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, one of largest youth work organization in the territory. Miranda first joined the Federation to provide leadership training and services. She led important programmes including the “Hong Kong 200” Leadership Project, jointly organised with the All-China Youth Federation. She later served as the Secretary-General of the Youth Business Hong Kong (YBHK), one of the 45 global members of the Youth Business International to promote youth entrepreneurship through both financial and non-financial support. To offer more opportunities for local start-ups, Miranda also launched remarkable events like HSBC Youth Business Award, the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub and the first youth-oriented social innovation hub “The HKFYG Jockey Club Social Innovation Centre”. When it comes to advocating for youth entrepreneurs, Miranda represented the HKFYG and attended various global start-up forums. Publications and tool books were also published. Miranda is a graduate of The University of Hong Kong and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences in Psychology while attended a scholarship programme at Kyushu University (Japan). She also advanced her study in the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Master’s Degree in Corporate Communications. She loves running and photography.
