Mr Jonathan Kier
Senior Vice President of International Affairs and Distribution, The Weinstein Company
Jonathan Kier is the Senior Vice President of International Sales and Distribution at the The Weinstein Company, where he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of TWC and Dimension releases in over 50 countries, from the initial local theatrical release, thru the home video, television and digital platforms. Additionally, he is part of a two person sales team that handles foreign sales on TWC and Dimension titles at all the major annual film markets. Since the formation of The Weinstein Company in 2005, Kier has worked on over 80 films including Hoodwinked, TMNT, The Reader, Nine, 1408 and the upcoming Piranha 3D.

Prior to joining The Weinstein Company in 2005, Kier worked in Affiliate Sales Strategy at MTV Networks, analyzing all of the domestic cable and satellite carriage deals for over 30 channels ranging from Comedy Central to Nickelodeon to MTV and VH1. Prior to that, he worked in Production and Development at Universal-based Marc Platt Productions, on such films as Legally Blonde.

Kier earned a BFA in Film from the Tisch School of the Arts and an MBA in Finance from the Stern School of Business, both at NYU. He is based in New York City.
