Mr Curtis Augspurger Co-Producer, Vanguard Animation, LLC Curtis Augspurger has been successfully implementing eclectic, out-of-the-box production paradigms for over 17 years. Following his Masters Degree in Architecture from Columbia University, Augspurger co-founded MenaceFX, a successful boutique VFX business. While running MFX, Augspurger consulted for both small and major production studios including Warner Bros., Dreamworks, Disney, Sony, and EA Sports. Augspurger came on as Co-Producer for John Williams (Shrek, Shrek II) to create and buildout Vanguard Animation's London and Vancouver Studios, respectively. Augspurger's credits include the Co-Production of two $40mm Studio released animated features and one DTV feature. While refining this Independent production paradigm, all films have been executed on-time and on-budget using this Vanguard model. His management expertise covers the creative process from start to finish, including tax credit financing, film financing, legal, studio and distributor relations, foreign sales and marketing, asset management architecture, pipeline creation, system integration, production, color grading, and post-production delivery.
