Mr Chang Chao-wei
Chief Producer & Co-Founder, CNEX Foundation
CHANG Chao-wei holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in National Tsing Hua University and a Master’s degree in Film Documentary & Media Production in Northern Media School, Sheffield Hallam University.

He worked at Pots Weekly, South 1995, Hong Kong Satellite TV International Media Group, Sun TV, and as CEO at iSUNTV Chinese Documentary Awards. He also worked for The Moving Visual Co., the very first communication company whose shows were produced by Discovery and National Geographic.

CHANG is also one of the co-founders at CNEX Foundation. He is the Chief Producer of CNEX Foundation and CNEX Studio. He is also the Vice Chairman of Beijing International Exchange Association.

Since 1997, he has partaken in the production and planning, mainly as Choreographer, of more than 50 feature and television documentaries.

He’s also a cultural critique, the author of Who’s Singing His Own Song – The History of Taiwanese Ballad Movement (temporary translation)and In-between Milan Kun(temporary translation), and the translator of The Philosophy of Punk. His articles are published on Film Appreciation Academic Journal, Merit Times supplement, Eslite Reader, South Newsletter, Pots Weekly, iSUN Affaires, Chinatimes, News Magazine, Initium Media…etc.
