Ms. Yoshie Shigemitsu Director of Marketing, Shigemitsu Industry Company Limited (JP) Born in Kumamoto City, Ms.Yoshie Shigemitsu played an active part as a Radio Host at a local radio station after graduating from University. Later on, she left for the United States on her own, where she studied Hotel & Restaurant Management at a University in New York. Since her father who founded the company had a sudden illness, she came back to Japan in 1996, and joined Shigemitsu Industry Co.,Ltd. After the shocking death of her father, she roamed around the world, trying to overcome the big loss in her life. Having overcome the tragedy, she made the decision take over her father’s ambition of “becoming a bridge between Japan and Asia through food”. She herself plays a major role in advertising the company, and actively promotes the business around the world.
