Since then Terence has taken up various roles in such media organizations as TVB, ATV, Hong Kong Commercial Radio, Hong Kong Metro Radio in Hong Kong and worldwide. He has accumulated experience of over 30 years in the capacity of the programme host and media administrator. Other than media management, Dr Wong has been renowned for his role as a corporate trainer. He has been developing and delivering training programmes and conducting workshops in areas of sales techniques, motivation, team building, corporate communication, public speaking. Dr Wong has been invited to deliver speeches and tailor-made training programmes by various departments of Hong Kong and Macau Governments, banks, financial institutions, airlines, property and estate consultancy firms and non-government organizations. He is popular particularly for his lively way of illustrating abstract management concepts and practical ways of self-developments. Dr Wong is also a columnist and has authored a series of books sharing his experience as an administrator and self-learning methods in sharpening public speaking skills.
