Mr Michael Rosser News Editor at Screen International Michael Rosser is the News Editor at Screen International, the home for news, reviews, features, analysis, box office analysis, festival reports and commentary for the global film industry, providing insight and intelligence into a world of production, finance, sales and distribution. As well as overseeing the management of ScreenDaily.com, which includes sending daily digital newsletters around the world, Michael edits the news in Screen’s film festival magazines in Hong Kong, Cannes, Berlin and more. Born in the UK, Michael began his career in newspapers before moving to London to work in the trade magazine business. After writing about marketing for two years, he joined Broadcast magazine – the UK’s leading title for the TV industry. After two years at Broadcast, Michael left to write for global TV titles including TBI (Television Business International) and C21 International. He returned to Broadcast in 2007 to oversee international coverage and also revamp the magazine’s digital offering, relaunching its website in 2011. A lifelong love of film took Michael to Screen International in 2012, where he relaunched the title’s digital offering as part of an ongoing revamp of ScreenDaily.com and attends film festivals around the world, covering the global movie business.
