Eric Thain is currently the Managing Director, North Asia for Optimate, an Artificial Intelligence platform that curates data in marketing with cognitive computing systems. With 17+ years of Brand Business Management, Digital & Leadership experience across APAC (including China), from Digital Innovation to Content Marketing to 360 Marketing to Artificial Intelligence to Data Mining involving both start-up & growth organizations. He has worked with a range of exciting and developing businesses by teaming with entrepreneurial fund and government initiatives across the region.
Eric is an expert in Business Transformation & Innovation in the connected age, including reshaping operation & business models, new supportive technology & talent strategy, consulting for global companies like HSBC, Marriot Group, Sheraton Hotels, Hawaiian Airlines, P&G, Nike, Louis Vuitton, HP and Mercedes Benz.
Prior to Optimate, he held senior business leadership positions in both corporate and agencies across the region. He regularly shares his thoughts at top marketing conferences such as ad:Tech across Asia; and sit on the Board of Advisors in various Marketing Associations advising issues that affect the marketing industry. Eric is also Co-Founder of the Artificial Intelligence Society of Hong Kong, pushing the role & integration of AI in the modern brand space.
