Mr. Josh Merin
Director of International Affairs, International Franchise Association

Speaker's Profile:
Josh Merin is IFA’s Director of International Affairs. In this role, Josh co-leads IFA’s international program, where he works to enable IFA member companies to access global opportunities. IFA’s international program includes trade missions to markets around the world, educational programming and study tours. In a previous role at IFA, Josh managed IFA’s award-winning VetFran program as well as the day-to-day research for the IFA Educational Foundation. In the less than three years of VetFran’s Operation Enduring Opportunity campaign, the franchise industry enabled over 151,000 military veterans and their spouses to begin careers in franchising, including 5,192 as franchise business owners. With a background on Capitol Hill in the office of Representative William Delahunt of Massachusetts, Josh also worked for a public affairs firm, developing coalitions. He has had roles of increasing responsibility in small business leadership in the art market. Josh attended The George Washington University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the Corcoran College of Art + Design.
