Robin Edman Chief Executive, SVID Robin Edman, Chief Executive, SVID will present an overall picture of the global challenges ahead of us and how design as a driving force can help to develop attractive destinations where people want to live, go to work and come to visit - places with a competitive private sector and well designed and functioning public services. Robin is the Chief Executive of SVID, the Swedish Industrial Design Foundation, a design promotion organization, running major programs in the Health and Wellness sector as well as Destinations. Robin is an industrial designer and has previously run major operations for Electrolux Global Design organization for more than 20 years, both in Europe and North America. Robin works towards integrating a better understanding of the users, the importance of design, the investments made and the results displayed. Robin has served on numerous international juries, the board of Icsid and is presently the Vice President of BEDA.
