Christer Larsson City Planning Director Malmö City Christer Larsson, City Planning Director Malmö City will present how Malmö works with city planning and how a city can be open and ‘allowing’ to its users – How you create and design a liveable city and what does liveable cities really mean. Christer Larsson is the director of Malmö City Planning Office in Sweden. He is responsible for and has great knowledge of the strategic development planning of the city, including the recent years of developing the Western Harbour site and the urban reconfiguration of Malmö. Christer Larsson is a member of the Governing Board of INTA (the International Urban Development Association), chairman of Nordic City Network and a commissioner for a Socially Sustainable Malmö. Amongst other projects Christer Larsson is active in international architectural competition juries and at the moment he leads the National commission to develop a new policy for architecture form and design in Sweden.
