Dr Qun Liao General Manager & Chief Economist, Research Department, Wholesale and Cross-border Banking Group, China Citic Bank International Limited Speech Topic: China's New Normal of Economic Development Dr. Liao Qun joined the Bank in July 2002 as Vice President and is now Chief Economist and General Manager of Research Department of the Bank. Dr. Liao specialises in macroeconomic research, and also oversees the industrial, market and strategic research for the Bank. He previously worked for the State Planning Commission of China as a Senior Economist and Chief of Economic Forecasting Division, and was Senior Economist of Standard Chartered Bank before joining the Bank. Dr. Liao holds a PhD Degree in Economics from the University of Oxford in the UK.
