Mr Kym De Britt General Manager, Franchise Council of Australia Kym is currently the General Manager of the Franchise Council of Australia and has held this position for the past two years. Prior to this, he served as the association’s Chief Operating Officer for five years. Kym also owns a cocktail bar in Fitzroy, Melbourne - the Kodiak Club. With 20 years in hospitality, predominantly in the gaming industry, Kym also spent 10 years in the Australian Federal Police based in Canberra and Sydney, where he worked in areas including General Policing, Traffic Branch, Diving Squad, VIP Protection and Driver Training. With a training schedule averaging about 15 hours per week, Kym is an experienced half and full Ironman competitor having raced in Hawaii, Barcelona and Australia. He is also a motorsport enthusiast, his endeavours primarily involve competing in the Tarmac Rally series where he is a front-running contender in the Showroom Category.
