Mr David Yeung Co-founder, Green Monday David Yeung is the co-founder of Green Monday, a social venture founded in 2012 in Hong Kong that aims to tackle climate change and global food insecurity by making low‐carbon and sustainable living simple, viral and actionable. Its innovative platform, which consists of public advocacy, impact investing, corporate consulting, and specialized retail, provides holistic and versatile solutions that empower corporations, academic institutions and general public. Under Green Monday Mr. Yeung launched “Green Common” – world’s first plant-based green living emporium – to introduce Food 2.0 and a revolutionized food mindset through empowering the community with sustainable, innovative, wholesome and responsible food choices. Green Monday is named by Fast Company as one of China’s Top 50 Most Innovative Companies, while Mr. Yeung is selected by Fast Company as “100 Most Creative People in China,” by The Purpose Economy as “Asia 100 Pioneers”, by the Junior Chamber International as “Ten Outstanding Young Persons Hong Kong”, and by Conscious Company Magazine as “17 Rising Social Entrepreneurs.” He is also named “Men of the Year,” “Local Heroes of the Year,” “Best Idea of the Year” by Hong Kong media.
