Speaker's Profile:
Edwin is one of the awardees for the 2011 Ten Outstanding Young Persons Selection organized by Junior Chamber International, which recognizes his contribution to promoting entrepreneurshi p in Hong Kong and helping the people with physical disabilities for open employment and development.

Edwin was also the youngest and first non-American Chairman in the 28-year history of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), the world’s largest association for business brokers, based in Chicago, USA. Edwin is currently the Chairman of the Social Enterprise Steering Committee of the Hong Kong Rehabilitation Power, which oversees 8 social enterprises that train over 150 disabled to rejoin the open workforce every year.

Edwin established BridgeWay (Former HKBI) after being laid off as an investment banker in New York due to the 911 attack in 2001. In these 10 years, BridgeWay has grown from a one-man company to become the first leading business broker and developer with business builder and broker with over 200 staff in Hong Kong and has completed over 1,000 business sales transactions to entrepreneurs. BridgeWay has also setup over 60 businesses for the entrepreneurs to purchase as a ready-made-business.

Edwin was also awarded the Young Entrepreneur Award of the Hong Kong Business Award 2010 by DHL/SCMP and the Innovative Entrepreneur of the Year 2007 by the City Junior Chamber of Hong Kong, Edwin has led BridgeWay to win numerous leading awards including the 2006 Innovation & Creativity Award sponsored by the Trade and Industry Department of HKSAR, 2007 Top Brand Enterprise Award by the Hong Kong Productivity Council, and the 2008 Top Service Brand Award by the Hong Kong Brand Development Council, etc.
