"Bioscope Magazine awarded Pantham as the “Filmmaker of the Year 2007” award. ""Because of his achievement MPC invited him to be part of association as Deputy Secretary for Academic Affairs since 2013. ""His “The Red Bike Story” became the first Thai feature film to be picked up for a regional screening by HBO/Cinemax in 1996. ‘Mekong Full Moon Part’ was selected to screen in the Toronto International Film Festival and won a FIPRESCI Special Mention at the Hong Kong International Film Festival in 2003. In the same year, ‘One Night Husband’ and Ekacahai Uekrongtham’s ‘Beautiful Boxer’ were selected to screen at the Berlin International Film Festival and many international film festivals. In 2004, not only was he behind Weerasethakul’s win at Cannes but his company, “tifa” also won the BioScope Film Magazine award of the “Most Promising Film Company”. ‘also picked up the best screenwriting awards from the Bangkok Critics Association and swept all the best actor awards including the National Film Award.
