Mr. Lim Teck
Managing Director, Clover Films
Mr. Lim Teck is the managing director of Clover Films, a company he founded in December 2009. He has often been dubbed as the “movie maverick” in the Singapore entertainment industry. Throughout his career in the past decade, with his keen eye and acute insight, Mr. Lim Teck successfully distributed numerous box-office hits such as the Infernal Affairs trilogy, Ong Bak, New Police Story, Initial D, 200 Pounds Beauty, Kung Fu Dunk, Red Cliff I & II and Shinjuku Incident, The Viral Factor, The Fierce Wife Final Episode to name a few. He has also produced more than 20 movies for renowned directors, including Jack Neo’s Ah Boys To Men 1 & 2, We Not Naughty, Just Follow Law and Money No Enough 2, Kelvin Tong’s Rule #1 and Kidnapper, Ekachai Uekrongtham’s The Coffin and The Wedding Game and Royston Tan’s 12 Lotus.

Mr. Lim Teck has built an outstanding reputation in the Singapore movie industry, distributing and producing many box-office hits. Prior to his founding of Clover Films, he was the Chief Operating Officer of listed media company Scorpio East. He started his movie industry career at Buena Vista Columbia Tristar Films in 1999 and later moved on to head the Chinese Film Department at the illustrious Shaw Organisation from 2000-2006. He was also the General Manager of InnoForm Media from 2006-2007.

For his outstanding achievements and contributions to the Singapore movie industry, Mr. Lim Teck was honoured as “Movie Industry Personality of the Year” by Singapore’s leading Chinese daily, Lianhe Zaobao in 2008, 2010 and 2011 respectively. In addition, he was also named as the “Top 10 Movers & Shakers of The Entertainment Industry of 2011”, an annual poll profiling the most influential entertainment industry players by Singapore’s leading English daily, The Straits Times. He was appointed by the Media Authority of Singapore to the Board Of Screen Singapore in 2012 where he continues to serve.
