Bodin Hon Product Innovation Designer, Yellowdot Design Bodin, is an American industrial designer. Initially educated as an engineer, he worked on spacesuits & space toilets at NASA in Houston. His design career began with a scholarship to study in Milan’s Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in 2013. During his time in Italy, he worked on projects for Samsung, Continuum Innovation & the City of Milan and designed next generation ‘connected’ medical devices for international companies. He was the 1st ‘young designer’ winner of the International Golden Compass Design Award (Compasso d’oro) in 2015 with his portable smart solar cooker ‘Solari’. Since 2017 with his partner he started yellowdot design in HK, working in design innovation & strateg for food, technology, retail - alongside technology startups and China’s top appliance manufacturers to design for the latest generation of young International & Chinese consumers.
