Mrs. Natalie Altmann
CEO of Media Valley
An animation industry expert, Natalie Altmann launched in 2010 her production company, Media Valley. Based in Paris, Media Valley is specialized in the development and production of high-end children and family projects, whether for cinema or television. Media Valley is currently producing a slate of animated and live action series aimed at the international market (among which Zoom the White Dolphin – 52 x 13’ for TF1, ZDF and Tiji and The Triplets – 78 x 7’ for France Televisions and Universal). On top of developing her own IPs, Natalie Altmann is working as an executive producer on several projects, including the new CGI 3D animated feature based on Asterix, Asterix, the Mansions of the Gods, released in France in 2014. Natalie Altmann was the Head of Children’s Programmes at French private broadcaster M6, from 1997 to 2009, where she developed a diversified Youth Activities Pole, ranging from in house production, animation co-production, to acquisition and programming. In addition to her broadcasting responsibilities, she created and oversaw M6 Studio, the M6 production company dedicated to animation and fiction, and produced the animated feature film Asterix and the Vikings, released in 2006, as well as the animated series Little Nick based on the books Le Petit Nicolas by Goscinny and Sempé. Before joining M6, Natalie Altmann was Head of Development at Saban International Paris, where she supervised, from 1992 to 1997, the development and writing of numerous animated series for the French, European and international markets. Graduated from the Paris Institute of Political Studies, Natalie Altmann also holds a Master of Arts in Communication, from the Annenberg School for Communication (University of Southern California in Los Angeles).
