Mr.Gerry Shirren Managing Director of Cartoon Saloon Gerry has been working in the animation industry for over 25 years and is Managing Director at Cartoon Saloon, the double Oscar nominated studio of the highly acclaimed The Secret of Kells and Song of the Sea. Cartoon Saloon is currently producing the 2nd season of Puffin Rock (nominated in this year’s KidScreen Awards), an original TV series narrated by Chris O’Dowd with season 1 currently airing on Netflix worldwide and on Nick and RTE Jr in Ireland and the UK. Cartoon Saloon is also in production of The Breadwinner, an animated theatrical feature based on the Deborah Ellis best-selling young reader’s novel in co-production with Aircraft Productions from Canada and Melusine from Luxembourg and Angelina Jolie Pitt executive producing.
