Speaker's Profile:
Hilary heads up all things startups, mentors and investors at blueprint, a new tech accelerator and co-working space by Swire Properties. Responsible for the devising and running the accelerator program, Hilary manages the end to end program for participating teams, developing the mentor and investor networks and facilitating relationships with startups, and forging partnerships with corporates to further drive innovation and business development. Prior to working at blueprint, Hilary was based in London, as the investment manager for the pan-European accelerator Seedcamp. Seedcamp is a $33M fund, which ran more than 60 events involving 10,000 startups, 5,000 mentors, and helped scale more than 125 Seedcamp companies. In the UK, Hilary facilitated the investment deal process for startups and ran ‘Seedcamp Academy,’ the fund’s internal learning program for its 125+ portfolio companies. She also managed Seedsummit, the initiative to provide open source legal documents to the greater European startup community.

Originally from the US, Hilary moved to London after earning her BA from Yale University to join a general practice, multi-jurisdictional law firm where she was COO. During her five year tenure, she led the firm to achieve a ranking among the top 2.5% of all British law firms in practice management by the Law Society of England and Wales’ Lexcel program.
