Vivien Liu Architectural Designer, Photographer & Social Media Influencer, Studio UNIT Ltd. Vivien Liu is an architectural designer and photographer based in Hong Kong. She has been practicing architecture for over 8 years in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Hong Kong and China. Her experience comprises a wide range of building typologies, including office, retail, hotel, residential and institutional, involving architectural design at various scales from interior to urban planning and infrastructure. Prior to founding Studio UNIT, Vivien worked as an architect at Rem Koolhaas' OMA and Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF). Vivien attended the University of Waterloo, graduating with a Bachelor of Architectural Studies, and went on to study at Harvard University's Graduate School of Design, where she was awarded the prestigious Clifford Wong Prize in Housing Design. Four years ago she discovered a passion in photographing the urban density and architecture of Hong Kong and around the world. Her photography on Instagram has attracted close to 180,000 followers who check in to see her unique view on Hong Kong every day.
