The “World SME Summit” is one of the key annual highlights of small and medium businesses. The aim of the Summit is to construct an interactive platform upon which the latest information on global economic situation is provided. This also helps SMEs grasp the major direction of the world economy in the coming year, facilitating their development of mutually beneficial, healthy and sustainable strategies.

The Belt and Road Initiative and the "13th Five-Year Plan" have provided huge opportunities for development for both Guangdong and Hong Kong. With the completion of cross-border projects such as the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link, distance among these districts will be much reduced, facilitating the interflow of personnel, materials and capital. Hong Kong will work hand in hand with Shenzhen and Guangzhou to further deepen their exchanges and cooperation. Only by complementing each other's strengths can we successfully cope with the new challenges from the outside world.
